The ARC-A and ARC-B readers use the latest MIFARE® and DESFIRE® contactless chip technologies with new data security mechanisms. They implement public encryption algorithms (TDES, AES, RSA, SHA, etc.), as recommended and recognized by the French national security agency ANSSI. The decoder / interface is a data encryption and authentication device for read-only readers. This smart decoder converts Secure RS485 communication into a plain Wiegand, Data / Clock or RS485 communication. This decoder assures confidentiality and integrity of the communication between the reader and the system.
