The Comnet CNMC2SFPPoE is part of the CNMCSFP series of electrical-to-optical Ethernet media converters. It converts a 10/100/1000 Mbps electrical input to a 100 or 1000 Mbps optical output, and vice versa, with DIP switch selection and auto-negotiation on the copper interface. Supporting one or two optical fibers with sold-separately Comnet SFP modules, the CNMC2SFPPoE provides dual-channel operation for added flexibility. This model is equipped with PoE+ (30W IEEE 802.3at), making it suitable for powering network edge devices while maintaining reliable optical connectivity.
